Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme that helps businesses protect against common online threats. To pass, organisations must show they have essential protections in place, such as:
- secure firewalls
- strong access controls
- up-to-date security settings
- regular software updates
- vulnerability checks on systems and devices
Cyber Essentials Plus goes a step further by including hands-on testing from a qualified assessor, who checks that these protections are working effectively in the real world. We’re extremely grateful to Bramfitt Technology Labs, our assessment partner, for helping us with this process.
This certification gives our customers and partners confidence that we’re actively reducing cyber risks and protecting their data. It’s also recognised across the UK — more than 215,000 organisations now hold Cyber Essentials certification.
